"Not Enough"

Brenda Kumma

So often, we feel not enough. As women, as wives, as single women, as friends, as parents, and more. God meets us right where we are, gently whispering, "It's OK. You are my beloved child. I meet your weakness with My strength, and your struggle with My grace." The struggle is real. And so is His faithfulness.

"I Asked God"

Brenda Kumma

Dear friends, Sometimes when we pray, we may question if God is listening, if He cares, if He will answer. He is, He does, He will. Sometimes, He doesn't give us the answer we hoped for or expected. He loves us so much that He gives us what we need.

"A Hole in the Boat"

Brenda Kumma

Dear friends, God is always up to more than we realize. Sometimes, through small acts of kindness or faithfulness, we may not realize the greater need we are meeting or how God may choose to bless others through us.

Anxiety and God's Grace

Melynda O'Brien

I was 20 when a panic attack showed up in the middle of the night and nearly took me out. I was in my senior year of college and felt completely helpless. I couldn't catch my breath, I felt like I was simultaneously going crazy and dying of a heart attack. This episode was the first of many that would send me into an anxious spiral that I didn't think I'd ever get out of.

"The Amazing Stunt Spider"

Brenda Kumma

My son and I witnessed a little brown spider building a web on the side mirror of our SUV. He held on no matter what - even when high speeds wrecked his web down to a single strong strand. When we stopped, he rebuilt. I'm not a fan of spiders in general, but this little guy reminded me - we were born to keep building. Our Creator is the strong strand that won't break - the foundation we can cling to. He has amazing plans for us no matter how small we may feel. He loves us, friends! Hang on!

"You Will Be Found"

Brenda Kumma

In a world with so much to see, many feel unseen. It's easy to feel invisible, like we don't matter, like no one really sees us. The Lord does. He seeks after our hearts because He loves us. You are not invisible, friends. You are His beloved child.

Speaking Life to Ourselves

Brenda Kumma

We may be so encouraging to our friends or family that we dearly love, but speak so unkindly to ourselves. Thoughts lead to attitudes, which lead to beliefs, which lead to actions or lack of actions. What are we allowing to run through our minds? Our thoughts just might be keeping us from the future we long for.

Gentle Obedience

Bethany Houk

With a world of freedom and only myself to answer to, I floundered. I felt so lost.

I needed help. Something or someone outside of me to help me unravel the ball of emotions and doubts.

“Your words were found, and I ate them. And Your words became a joy to me and the happiness of my heart. For I have been called by Your name, O Lord God of All.” Jeremiah 15:16.
